From Rt. 2 Going East

From Rt. 2 take exit 59 for Arlington Center - Rt. 60 / Pleasant St. Continue on the service road for a short distance to the traffic lights. Take a left onto Pleasant St. towards Arlington Center. Go through two sets of lights, and at the third set (this is a large intersection made up of Massachusetts Ave. and Rt.60 - a modern white church is on the left) take a left onto Massachusetts Ave. (heading towards Lexington). Go through a set of lights, the high school is at the end of the next block on the right beside the Buick car dealership. The school will not be visible until you are almost in front of it because of its set back with a small park in front.

From 93 going North

Take the Rt. 16 - Arlington/Medford exit. Continue along Rt. 16 until you come to Massachusetts Ave. (approx. 6 sets of lights). A landmark for Mass Ave. is a Mobil gas station on your left. Take a right. Continue on Mass Ave. until the center of Arlington (intersection of Rt. 62), and then follow the directions above. There will be a mini-center that includes the Capitol Theatre before you come to the Center.

From 93 going South

Either take Rt.128 to Rt. 2 and follow the directions above or continue south on Rt.93 to the Mystic St. exit (the first exit after Rt. 60). At the end of the ramp, go left under Rt.93 and follow the signs for Rt.16 towards Arlington - and then follow the directions above. You can park along Mass. Ave. or on the side streets that are perpendicular to Mass. Ave. All of the parking spaces along the inner drive are reserved, however, after school hours, some parking spaces may be available. Additionally, there is a parking lot behind the high school that can be accessed by taking a right onto Mill St. coming from the Center (there is a light at the intersection). Take a left at the access road at HOLOVAK and COUGHLIN. The road will take you to the parking lot of AHS and the entrance to the gymnasium. There are two entry doors in the courtyard. However, from this lot you will not be able to enter the front door of the high school. After entering a side door, ask directions to the library.
