Closest Intersection - Columbia Street and Common Street

From Route 128/95 via Trapelo Road, Waltham

  • Take Exit 28A onto Trapelo Road in Waltham.
  • At the top of the ramp - Take left onto Trapelo Rd. heading southeast, for approximately 5 miles.
  • Go through Waverley Square and into Cushing Square, Belmont.
  • Take right at the set of lights at the intersection of Common Street and Trapelo Road.
  • Go all the way up the hill past the set of lights.
  • Continue on down the hill past a small variety store on your left
  • Take the first left after the variety store which is Columbia Street. Watertown High School is on your right.
  • If no street parking is available in front of the school, take your first right past the school (Broadway), and park in the rear parking lot. Please do not block anyone in, or you will be asked to move your car.
Via Mass Pike (Interstate Route 90)
  • Take Exit 17, Newton Corner/ Galen Street.
  • Follow signs to Watertown, taking Galen Street north (down the hill) until you cross the bridge over the Charles River into Watertown Square.
  • As you enter Watertown Square make sure you stay in the second lane from the right.
  • Follow Route 16 east (Mount Auburn Street) towards Cambridge.
  • Dunkin Donuts will be on your right - go approximately 1/4 mile to the second sets of lights.
  • Take left onto Common Street.
  • Continue up Common and take your first right onto Columbia Street. School is on your right.
  • If no street parking is available in front of the school, take your first right past the school (Broadway), and park in the rear parking lot. Please do not block anyone in, or you will be asked to move your car.
